Visiting a city during Holy Week is always an excellent opportunity to see it with different eyes, with a different sensibility. If that city is C\u00e1ceres then the stories told to the visitor are especially generous and diverse. Easter Week in C\u00e1ceres was declared of International Tourist Interest in 2011. It draws fundamentally from the Castilian tradition with its floats carried on the shoulders, although in recent years it is the costaleros who move the floats of the Brotherhood of the Brotherhood of Esperanza del Vivero. This takes place mostly in the old quarter of the city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
