From the day we opened our doors we started to do it. It didn't have a name yet but we knew that offering a special room, quality gastronomy and exquisite service was important but not enough. We knew that travellers, both leisure and business travellers, are nourished in an important way by what they experience when they are not at the Hotel and we began to generate options, to offer possibilities, to manage actions and to give away knowledge. A visit to our most representative Contemporary Art Centre, shopping tips, bird watching in Monfragüe, or a refreshing canoe trip. Because activity is another way to relax and because work is not incompatible with leisure. We believe that getting to know your surroundings helps you to appreciate and enjoy them better. It is now a trend in tourism. They call it Bleisure and, at Gran Hotel Don Manuel, we have been practising it since the day we opened our doors.
But let's get to know this word a little better. It is actually born from the union of two English words: Business and Leisure. It focuses mainly, but not exclusively, on business trips. It is increasingly common for these trips to be organised to coincide with the arrival of a weekend.
